I'm always trying to think of creative ways to get veggies and super foods into my sons belly. He is such a good eater (now that we have got past the 4 molars). He is just getting over a cold and his appetite is back...yippee! I wanted to give him something to fill his belly, help him recover and give him a complete meal. My husband and I discovered he loves anything in a burger form and I made these bean burgers for him a couple of weeks ago and he couldn't get enough. This time though I wanted to pump them up, so I looked in my garden and grabbed a whole handful of kale. I didn't totally measure everything and the burger was a little moist this time compared to the 1st one I did. The solution was just to cook it a little longer. It didn't look super pretty at the end but the little man love it!
